Dear Dictionary Project,
I will use your dictionary for many things like learning different
words. I can look up the definitions of my vocabulary words.
I can find words that I don’t know or don’t think
is a word. It will help me during school and while traveling.
It will help me spell words. I find homophones and what they
mean. It can make words more specific for me. I will not have
to share a dictionary with any one any more. So thank you
very much.
Sincerely,
Daniel

Dear Dictionary Project,
I always wanted a dictionary of my own because I did not want
to rush so other people can use it. Now I can take my sweet
time! If I don’t know a word I can get it out and find
the word. I can also use it at home like when me and my mom
make a recipe. I just can pull it out even when I am at the
store. I know I will take care of it.
Love,
Tristen

Dear Ms. French,
I am writing to thank you for the dictionary. I was really
in need of it. My dad is always quizzing me on gigantic words.
I also read a lot and don’t always know what some words
mean. This month I have to do a report on the computer and
I might have to use it then. I think that it was very very
very generous of you to give us dictionaries.

Dear Ms. French,
Thank you for the dictionaries. I didn’t know how to
write hard words. But if I look in a dictionary I could find
the word. My teacher said to us go get a dictionary to look
for this word, and it was fun! I want to be smart. Learning
is fun. Before I didn’t like learning. But now I do!
It is fun!
