Certified Literate Community Program (CLCP) is a means to combat the problems of low literacy by shifting the focus for such efforts to the community level. A CLCP network is formed to coordinate businesses, churches, volunteer organizations, social services, local government, schools, and media in order to reach, influence and support those individuals and groups who want to improve their education.
This organization has donated 45,810 books. They have been implementing the project since 2003-2004, with at least 21 clubs/sections participating in the project. They have donated to over 123 school(s) nationwide!
So far in 2011-2012, they have donated 4,728 books, giving to students in over 49 schools, and with about 10 clubs participating.
