The national Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an organization composed of parents and teachers who advocate for the needs of children and serve their local schools. Founded in 1897, the national PTA has provided support, information and resources to families focused on the health and education of children. Their motto is 'Every Child. One Voice.'
This organization has donated 11,718 books. They have been implementing the project since 2002-2003, with at least 41 clubs/sections participating in the project. They have donated to over 36 school(s) nationwide!
So far in 2011-2012, they have donated 630 books, giving to students in over 6 schools, and with about 6 clubs participating.
