The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is a professional honorary Society of women educators. The Society promotes professional and personal growth of its members and excellence in education. Established in 1929, Delta Kappa Gamma has attained major objectives in improving opportunities for qualified women employed at every level of education, as well as in advancing the status of women educators. Delta Kappa Gamma Society has chapters in 17 countries, with over 150,000 members.
This organization has donated 48,501 books. They have been implementing the project since 2003-2004, with at least 38 clubs/sections participating in the project. They have donated to over 122 school(s) nationwide!
So far in 2011-2012, they have donated 4,704 books, giving to students in over 53 schools, and with about 12 clubs participating.
