The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal benefit society founded in 1882. Its founding principles are charity, unity, and fraternity. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works. The Knights of Columbus has more than 14,000 councils and 1.8 million members throughout the United States and the world.
This organization has donated 2,516 books. They have been implementing the project since 2003-2004, with at least 14 clubs/sections participating in the project. They have donated to over 20 school(s) nationwide!
So far in 2011-2012, they have donated 326 books, giving to students in over 7 schools, and with about 4 clubs participating.
