Kiwanis International, founded in 1915, is a global organization of members of every age who are dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. Their motto is "Serving the Children of the World." Kiwanis Clubs have 240,000 members in 7,700 clubs in 80 countries.
This organization has donated 1,025,381 books. They have been implementing the project since 2002-2003, with at least 634 clubs/sections participating in the project. They have donated to over 3,336 school(s) nationwide!
So far in 2011-2012, they have donated 160,830 books, giving to students in over 2,013 schools, and with about 340 clubs participating.
