Newspaper
Business
Newspapers are a viable source for local news, sports, events, obituaries, classifieds and information about the local and surrounding communities. The newspaper itself is composed of an extensive staff including a publisher, news staff, production staff, circulating staff, advertising staff, composing staff and more. However, it is the readers who ensure whether or not the newspaper is successful. Due to the fact that the newspaper reports about their local community, it is only reasonable that they participate in programs supporting the general welfare of the community with sponsorships such as the Dictionary Project.
This organization has donated 8,040 books. They have been implementing the project since 2002-2003, with at least 6 clubs/sections participating in the project. They have donated to over 26 school(s) nationwide!
There has been no participation in 2011-2012 yet.
View historical participation figures*Our online donation records go only as far as 2003. A school year runs from June 1st to May 31st.
