Rotary District 5440 has been trying for three years to have all 3rd graders in the state receive books. Last year one person ordered most of the books which were then delivered around the state for delivery to the various schools. This project is part of our Literacy program. The children get very excited when we arrive at their schools and distribute the dictionaries. We attach a book plate to each dictionary explaining our project for parent awareness.
