Dictionary donation

The Kiwanis Club of Kansas City, Kansas, West delivered 240 dictionaries to third graders at White Church, St. Patrick, Open Door Christian, and Piper elementary schools. This is the club’s ninth year of participation. This project comes from Dictionary Project Kansas City, founded in the summer of 2002. With support of the Kansas City community, Dictionary Project Kansas City purchased and distributed more than 10,000 dictionaries during that first school year. Tony Richardson, former Kansas City Chief player, was the first major supporter and still supports this project.
