Anoka-Hennepin 3rd graders given dictionaries

Nearly 3,000 third grade Anoka-Hennepin students will get a new dictionary this school year.

“The Dictionary Project” aims to help students become good writers, active readers, creative thinkers, and resourceful learners, according to a statement from the district. The project is sponsored by local Rotary Clubs, Connexus Energy, and the Anoka-Hennepin Educational Foundation.

Each student will be given their own personal dictionary to use at school and home.
