Rotary Club Brings Dictionaries and Discovery to Pagosa Peak Students

Through their annual Rotary Dictionary Project, the Rotary Club of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, proudly donated personal dictionaries to many excited third-graders in Archuleta County.   Recently, Paola Hasbun’s class at Pagosa Peak Open School was visited by Rotarians Cindi Galabota and Lisa Scott, who distributed dictionaries and led the students on an adventure through the pages—discovering maps, animals, U.S. history, and many other helpful reference tools. The books provide resources that go far beyond simple definitions, making the experience rewarding for both the students and the volunteers.
