The FSP Rotary Club has been giving dictionaries to all 3rd graders for over five years. It is a great experience for the children and the club members. It is one of our club activities that almost all members participate in. We are also donating to a private school in Hillside, NJ. You do a great job.

I am a 3rd grade teacher at Elwood CCSD #203 in Elwood, Illinois. Our PTO has purchased dictionaries for the last 2 years, and I cannot tell you how much of a difference it has made to our 3rd graders. They love their dictionaries and use them all the time. They have word races, sit and read them just for fun, and they all...

This will be the fifth year that we have given books to the 3rd graders of our local district. When we have distributed this year’s books, we will have donated more than 4,000 books in my parents’ memories. I like the Dictionary Project!

This is the 3rd year the Hereford Rotary Club has given out dictionaries. The Dictionary Project is a great program for the kids. 3rd graders are excited to receive their very own dictionary, not to mention the teachers. It is a great help in the classroom.

We are thrilled to get started with the dictionary project again this year. It is such a pleasure to see the kids get really excited about receiving their new dictionaries! This is our 4th year participating in the dictionary project…and we love it. For me, it is the 2nd year heading up the committee…I believe it is my favorite of all my community service...

The G-H Rotary Club has been presenting dictionaries to schools in our community for the last 4 years. The Rotarians enjoy visiting the schools and chatting with the students about dictionaries and the value they will have for the students. The students love receiving them. It’s been a very worthwhile project for us and we get so much positive feedback from students and teachers.

This is our third year participating. If I didn’t think this was a fantastic project I would not have participated.
