This is our fourth year; the member that spearheaded this project passed away this year, so we are continuing this in her memory. This is a great program for a small organization like ours to give back to the community.

I think that this is our 10th year distributing. This was an excellent choice, according to the teachers.

This will be our 4th year doing this project. The last 2 years we have added another school to the project. The children & teachers really appreciate the dictionaries and all of the information included. Our club considers this to be a very worthwhile project.

We have been providing dictionaries for local school children for 5 years now and it is one of our favorite annual programs. The appreciation of the children and school personnel is amazing. Truly an opportunity to serve our community in a meaningful way. We have been getting dictionaries since the inception of our program and have found the Dictionary Project the only way a...

We have been doing this now for four years and love it. We put labels “donated by” in each dictionary with the Rotary 4-Way test printed on them. They then are put in the books by members of our Rotary Club and Youth Act (junior Rotarians). We LOVE the dictionary project! We actually have a member that still has their dictionary!

This opportunity is amazing. I could not afford to do this for my students any other way. These books are Christmas presents for my class. I have given them for several years, and succeeding teachers tell me that their students continue to use them throughout the years.

We have been providing dictionaries to third graders on the Lower Kenai Peninsula for about four years, generally in cooperation with one or more other Rotary Clubs. This year we are the only club in our community to be donating dictionaries. We love this project, and we want to keep doing it as long as we can. The kids love getting their dictionaries and...

We have participated in the Dictionary Project for 8 years, and it is one of the keynote projects of our club. We like the interaction with the students, teachers and faculty at all of the schools. When someone asks us, ‘What does your Rotary Club do?’ the first thing many of our members say is, ‘We give away dictionaries!’
