I think this is our 4th year. We love this project!!! You’re doing a great job!!!

This is the third year we have participated in this project. We think this is a wonderful program which enables us to donate dictionaries to students who will be able to use them for years to come.

This is our 8th year doing the dictionary project and we have distributed over 2,000 dictionaries!

We go into each classroom, gym, or media center and give out the books, along with color books, bookmarks, and info on our Drug Awareness Programs, through the National Elks Organization. Fourth year of participating! The kids LOVE the dictionaries. Last year a fifth grader came running down the hall to great us and “show us where to go”, and she proudly waved her dictionary at us and said she “almost knows every word in it”.

This is a great service project that we look forward to each year. We raise the money to fund this project each year by selling poinsettia plants. I am a teacher and I received dictionaries last year. We used them so much I wanted some for my students this year. So I decided to buy them and donate them myself.

The children love the dictionaries, and our club really enjoys this project. Thanks for helping us reach all the third graders in our community.

We have been doing this for seven years, adding Ezra Eby School, where it was not being done, three years ago. It is so well received that the children expect and await our arrival when they reach the 3rd grade.
