This will be our second year for the Dictionary project. Last year’s students were very surprised and eager to use their very own books. This is a neat project that fills a very real need for our young people. We are very happy and proud to be a part of the Dictionary Project.

Fifth year of donating dictionaries to 3rd graders in both towns. One our Club’s best projects.

This is a great project that does not require a great deal of manpower (and/or womanpower). The payoff is when you see the smiles on those cute faces!

This will be the Rotary Club of Pineville’s 5th or 6th year of participation. The first year the books were ordered through the Rotary Club of Shreveport. The books are GREAT and the schools, teachers and students use them when taking state mandate tests and throughout the year.

This is our second year. Last year, the student were thrilled to receive the dictionaries and could not believe they could take them home.

A project of the Kiwanis Club of Titusville Youth Services committee since 2005. This is an excellent program and we are pleased to be a part of it.

What a joy to see the look on children’s faces when they receive these dictionaries. Before we’re gone, they are practicing sign language, looking up presidents, figuring out how to find words.
