We will be distributing the dictionaries to each of the third grades. The teachers are thrilled to have us in the room and spend time introducing us and letting us tell about the work of Rotary. The Harrington Felton Greenwood Rotary Club is only 5 years old and this is at least our 4th year of donations to all 3rd graders. The kids love having their very own dictionaries and the Rotarians (with help from the Interact) love to present them.

This is our most enjoyable project, having the opportunity to deliver the books to our 3rd graders and watching the excitement at receiving, in many cases, the first book which was their very own. We ask questions and they race each other to find the answers in the dictionary. It is a great literacy project.
