The children love the dictionaries, and our club really enjoys this project. Thanks for helping us reach all the third graders in our community.

We have been doing this for seven years, adding Ezra Eby School, where it was not being done, three years ago. It is so well received that the children expect and await our arrival when they reach the 3rd grade.

We are really happy with the program. You do an excellent job with shipping them out. We receive lots of thank you letters, some gut wrenching. This project reminds us what we take for granted.

The school we sponsor is in an underprivileged area and because of that, this may be the only book a child owns. This is the reason we want these dictionaries that not only have words but also information on the make-up of the United States. Each year we purchase dictionaries to give to every third grader in the Sycamore School District. After the dictionaries arrive, we put Rotary labels in the front, and then deliver the dictionaries to all of the schools. We held our fundraiser last year; we purchased books last year for our district and are using the remaining funds to purchase books for this year’s 3rd graders. We love the Dictionary Project!

Out Rotary Club has presented dictionaries to the 3rd grade students for several years and they have been so appreciative of having their own dictionary!

This will be our third year to deliver a dictionary to every third grader in the Pasadena Independent School District.
