William Chase, Idaho Falls Elks Lodge # 1087, Idaho Falls, ID
I believe this will be the 6th year that we have participated in the program. We feel that this program is one of the best youth projects that we offer. Our donations come from many of our members.
Nancy Larsen, American Legion Aux. No. 235, Marion, SD
I have been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for nearly 40 years and want to continue assisting children as they learn and grow. This is such a great project and one in which the children would not be beneficiaries unless it existed. Thank you.
Donald Baker, Casas Adobes Elks Lodge # 2663, Tucson, AZ
This is the second time our Lodge has participated in this dictionary project. I think this is a great project. We are proud to be a small part of it.
Will Speight, Rotary Club of Abilene Southwest, Abilene, TX
Our Rotary Club has been donating books to Johnston Elementary third graders for years. The students look forward to receiving them. They each write a thank you letter expressing how the dictionaries help them to build word power and read. On a designated day coordinated with the Principal, our club members will go over and personally deliver them to each student.
Leon Wilson, Rotary Club of Marshall, Leslie, AR
This is a pet project by the Marshall Rotary Club members. They have been visiting the county elementary schools and distributing your dictionaries each school year since 2006.
Eileen Hogan, Eatontown Elks Lodge # 2402, Ocean, NJ
2010 will be our first time participating in the program. We think it is a wonderful idea!

We love the project because the children love receiving their dictionaries. They treasure them like a special gift!
Kathleen Boomer, Rotary Club of Goleta Noontime, Santa Barbara, CA
This will be our second year. It was very well received last year. The children loved getting the dictionaries. We received quite a few thank you notes from the children as well as their teachers.
Marvin Schweppe, Leon Valley Grange # 1581, San Antonio, TX
We believe that letting each student have his or her own dictionary is a great way to help them in their school work. We earn the money to buy the dictionaries by operating a food booth at the Helotes Corn-Y-Val each spring. This will be our tenth year with the project. I have seen this to be a big help with students. The students and teachers now expect this every year.
