The Rotary Club of Rankin County feels that the Dictionary Project is one of the best service projects that we do each year. We have been participating for the past 3 years and always look forward to this community involvement with our children.

We have been happy with the response from the kids, teachers and parents for this project.

This is the second year that the Hesperia Elks Lodge has participated in this wonderful program. With all the budget cuts in the State of California these dictionaries are very much appreciated.

This will be our second year. The result was quite obvious. Very happy children, teachers and principal. Four of our Lions Club members participated. To see personally first hand what a dictionary means to a child is priceless.

This is our 3rd year and are excited to be able to provide our 3rd graders with these dictionaries. We personally deliver them to students in their classrooms. To see the expressions, and hear the comments from both teachers and students is very gratifying. Great Program…our students LOVE this dictionary and all the other information it includes.

We think the dictionary program is a wonderful program and we are happy to be a part of it.

As mentioned, we serve a portion of our total School District. We attempt to work cooperatively with other organizations in covering the total district. A well received and fun project! We love it and so do the schools, parents, and children!

We have been distributing these books to all third grade students in the Hemet Unified school district for 4 or 5 years. They are so happy to have their “own” book and it’s a great pleasure to see the look on their faces.
