We have been participating for at least three years. What a wonderful project! This is our third year to distribute dictionaries to all 3rd graders in the Valley Grove, Franklin and St. Patrick’s schools. The children just love receiving their very own dictionary. This is a great project and we are very happy to be a part of it. Recently one of our Rotarians visited Guatemala and she took our “extras” to the children in Antigua.

This year we doubled our participation and the students were as enthusiastic as ever. In fact, students, parents and staff all seem to appreciate the dictionaries. Thanks for providing this great resource.

We will distribute these books to the third grade classes at Renovo Elementary School. We have been doing this for many years. It’s a great feeling knowing that these dictionaries will probably be the only book some students can call their own and use at school and home.

We are a new club, just getting ready to be chartered, and one of our special projects concerns literacy. We are delighted to be able to get to the children early in hopes of instilling a lifetime of learning and literacy.

We have been participating since Rotary year 2003-2004 (7th consecutive year). Wonderful project; we love the thank you letters from the children and share them with our Club members.
