This is such a wonderful project to be involved with. I enjoy seeing kids get their dictionary.

I see every child getting so excited to have their own dictionary….. Their smile, their excitement, their happiness…. it means so much to all of us in the Rotary Club.

At least 5 years – the students love it! We have older kids greet us when we arrive on campus. Also some tell us their sibling already got theirs. We try to spend a few minutes with the students and let them know they and their education are important to us.

We have been doing this for approximately 5 years. We always love to see the eager faces of the students when they receive the books. It’s priceless! One of greatest programs we have been involved with. Keep up the great work.

We have been involved in this project for as long as I have been in Rotary…a standing project that greatly benefits the students in our community. A wonderful program…thanks.

This will be our second year sharing this project with the school district. This is a wonderful inexpensive way for our small club to share educational material with children who may not have access to a book or dictionary. My club has participated in The Dictionary Project every year since our charter. The Dictionary Project is a wonderful yet easy way every Rotary Club in the USA & Canada, and every English-speaking country in the world, can contribute to increasing literacy in the world.

We did this for the first time last year in 2008 to huge positive responses from the children, teachers and Rotary members. It is a fantastic project. For some of the children this is the first book of their very own in their lives.

This is our 2nd year doing this project. It is wonderful!!!
