This is our third year of giving these dictionaries.. We think this is a great project.

We have participated 3-4 years with the third grade dictionaries and in 2013-2014 we are expanding the program to include the fifth grade Thesaurus.. We have found the dictionary project with Grand Lodge to be very rewarding and it is enjoyed by the students involved.. Private donor (DV).

Our Club has been participating for over 6 years. It is our best project! Thank you!. The Dictionary Project has earned our Club the Rotary Zone and District Literacy Award and we are very proud of this!.

We have been doing this project for five years. Two of the schools have been with us for all five years, while the other ones jumped on afterwards.. We feel it is important to do every thing we can to ensure our children have the tools necessary to succeed in life..

This is our 3rd year to distribute the dictionaries. Once a Rotarian helps in the distribution, they won’t miss again. The Dictionary Project was the first project our club did after we were chartered in 2006.. We love seeing the faces of the third graders when they receive their dictionaries. We’ve received wonderful thank you notes from the students and even photos of what the dictionaries look like after a year of use. The students love getting them and we enjoy giving them!.

This is our 5th year of participation. We distribute to 13 Title 1 Elementary Schools in Clovis. A Title 1 school is a school that has over 30% socio-economically disadvantaged students who receive some form of federal assistance.. We are enthusiastically welcomed to these schools by the teachers and students each year..
