It is great project! I really know how much it means to the students when you see them hug their book.

We give dictionaries to all of the third grade students in nine public elementary schools in Rockville, Maryland. The schools are always grateful to receive the dictionaries and tell us they would not be able to afford the books themselves. We enjoy helping the schools and the children.

Having been a member of Rotary team distributing the dictionaries in the past, I think you are doing a wonderful service to our nation’s children. The students love to get their own dictionary. My daughter, who is now in high school, still has hers from third grade and uses it regularly.

The Blue Earth Lions have participated in the Dictionary Project long enough that every student that is in the Blue Earth Area Schools from grades 4 through 12 received a dictionary when they were in 3rd grade.

It’s a wonderful project. The schools and the kids love the visits to the classrooms every year, and the club loves the thank-you letters the kids send us every year. It is one of our club’s BEST PROJECTS!!!

We have ordered dictionaries for many, many years for our local 3rd graders. It’s so rewarding to deliver these and see the joy it bring to each student. We prepare labels saying they are coming from the Kiwanis Club, and we put each child’s name on the dictionary.

The Nephi Kiwanis Club has been providing dictionaries to the 3rd grade students in Juab School District for many years.. We love the dictionary project. It is an easy way for our club to do something amazing!.

This is our fifth year of distributing thesauruses to the sixth graders at Seneca Middle School. We absolutely love the Dictionary Project. By sponsoring schools in our area, it is a great way to give back to our community by investing in the education and future of our children.

For many of the students we serve, this is the first book they, or in some cases, anyone in their family owns. It is one of our best “feel good” projects.
