This is our 9th year of giving out dictionaries to 3rd graders. The most popular project as club members all want to visit the kids and give them their very own dictionary. We’re hooked. Have a small school district and with this year will give out over 1,800 dictionaries.

This is the 11th year that I personally have been delivering the books. It is a great program! We like watching the students and they smile and hug their dictionaries.

We have been donating to Alta Vista Elementary School for years now and have established a wonderful working relationship with them. We also support them in many other ways. It’s a very fulfilling project. Thanks! As an ex-English teacher, I find it to be one of the most worthwhile projects our club is involved in!

We have given these dictionaries to our local 3rd graders for several years – they love them and carry them with them into the next grades. It is a great project, and the children and teachers are very appreciative.

Each year, the Christiana Rotary provides dictionaries to Gallaher Elementary, Jones Elementary and Thurgood Marshall Elementary in Delaware. We usually distribute almost 300 dictionaries. The club members always enjoy meeting the children and handing out the dictionaries. We are happy to support this very worthy project.

We have been participating in the dictionary project for 7 years. This is a very worthwhile project, and the children just feel so special receiving their own personal dictionary.

This has been an ongoing project for our club for more than ten years. We enjoy delivering the dictionaries to the kids and seeing their faces light up. The children are really excited to receive the dictionaries. We look forward to this project every year.

This will be our sixth year. The kids are always eager to have their own book and are very appreciative.
