Our club has done this project for the last 5 years. We think it is a WONDERFUL project. When we hand the student their dictionary their little face just lights up. They are so eager to start reading it. The teachers think it is great also.

As I have said throughout the years, Ms. French’s idea to do The Dictionary Project is brilliant, simple, and so beneficial for children. I am most grateful to be a part of this project for all these years.

Unbelievable program, kids are doing better in their grades, the high school teachers are even seeing a difference.

Green Tree Rotary Club is a club of 35 local businessmen in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. We donate dictionaries to six local elementary schools. The children are thrilled and ask “is it really ours to keep?”

This is our fifth year participating in this program. It is very worthwhile. The families and students are truly appreciative. Keep on doing what you are doing.

The teachers and students are the ones driving continued support for this project. They absolutely love the books and value them as a great resource for their students!
