202 students at Moody Elementary School received dictionaries from Moody Lions Club in Alabama. Lions who visited the school were Vernon and Jane Barker, Steve Sink, David and Michelle McGowen, Herschel, Linda Coleman and Larry and Linda Coleman. The Sugar House Rotary Club in Utah was featured in local media for their Dictionary Project. Wally Brown and Chuck Baker (pictured) guided students through their new dictionaries, showing them all the extra features and explaining to them why it is so important to use one. Since 2004, Sugar House Rotary Club has donated 34,668 dictionaries to students in their community.

Rotarians in Indio, California, visited 12 elementary schools in their community. They were able to provide over 1,200 third grade students with dictionaries. Happy Valley Grange #322

In October, Happy Valley Grange in Washington provided nearly 300 students in Riverview School District with dictionaries. The students were glad to receive dictionaries of their own, and were also excited to learn that October 16 is National Dictionary Day! Since 2004, Happy Valley Grange has donated 4,200 dictionaries to students in where they live.
