We have been participating in the Dictionary Project for about 6 years. Everyone loves this project and the children so look forward to their dictionaries.

We as a club have participated for 6 years. Children and teachers look forward to the dictionary presentation at the beginning of the school year.

This is the fourth year that Kiwanis of Central Broward participated in the dictionary project. Students look forward to receiving dictionaries and former recipients continue to use their dictionaries. This is a great project.

This is the 6th year we’ve done it. It’s so well received.

We have been donating to these schools for about 10 years. Teachers are very appreciative, and the kids write terrific Thank You letters. One of the best, and easiest, “good works” Clubs can get involved with.

This will be the 5th year we have given dictionaries to our third grade students. Each year the response reminds us of why we do this.

This will be our fourth year to provide a dictionary to every third grader in both the Anthony Wayne and Otsego school districts. We love this project and the students come up to us (even years later) to say they have their dictionary and still are using it.

We are a brand new club, chartering in November. This will be our 2nd distribution of dictionaries to the 3rd grade at at our adopted school, Katherine Finchy. I love the dictionary project–it is so rewarding to get such wonderful feedback from both students and parents.

I was new at this starting in the spring of last year. I discovered that presenting a program rather than just handing out dictionaries seemed to be more effective.
