We’re in a rural area and these kids do not have much so they really love getting a dictionary. Been participating for about 5 or 6 years now and really enjoy the program.

This is the most rewarding project we have ever done. The students are so appreciative and their thank you letters are precious.

This has been a great project for our club. We have been doing it for about 6 years now, and always get to make a presentation at a school board meeting which is televised on local cable TV, visit classrooms to tell students about our club and give them dictionaries, and get photos and an article in the newspaper. It’s a win-win-win situation!!!

This is the 6th year we have participated in The Dictionary Project. This last year, we have spread the word to other Kiwanis Clubs in California and many of them have started their own Dictionary Projects.

This is our 6th year with this project. The students and teachers love them, and we have heard comments from former 3rd graders still using the dictionaries.

I believe this will be the 6th year that we have participated in the program. We feel that this program is one of the best youth projects that we offer. Our donations come from many of our members.

I have been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for nearly 40 years and want to continue assisting children as they learn and grow. This is such a great project and one in which the children would not be beneficiaries unless it existed. Thank you.

This is the second time our Lodge has participated in this dictionary project. I think this is a great project. We are proud to be a small part of it.

Our Rotary Club has been donating books to Johnston Elementary third graders for years. The students look forward to receiving them. They each write a thank you letter expressing how the dictionaries help them to build word power and read. On a designated day coordinated with the Principal, our club members will go over and personally deliver them to each student.

This is a pet project by the Marshall Rotary Club members. They have been visiting the county elementary schools and distributing your dictionaries each school year since 2006.
