This is our first year in a Dictionary Project which is part of a city-wide effort of our Rotary Club Area and District. Feed-back from students and staff has been very positive and augurs well for repetition next year. Club members were actively involved in insertion of Rotary stickers in each book, their transportation and presentation.

The Alamogordo Noon Kiwanis Club joins forces with the Kiwanis Club of Cloudcroft and the Rotary Club of Tularosa to ensure that every 5th grade student receives a dictionary. We think your books are fantastic and the price incredible.

We have participated for three years. Rotarians think this is the best Literacy project that we do. To see the children’s faces as they are presented a dictionary is priceless. When they ask, “For me? for my very own?” we are touched by their gratitude!

The GFWC Marlette Woman’s Club has been participating in the Dictionary Project for four years. It is very rewarding seeing the kids’ eyes light up when they learn that these dictionaries are theirs to keep. The thank you notes that we receive make it all worth it. We think The Dictionary Project is a wonderful program.

This is the 3rd year that we will be donating the dictionaries to all of the 3rd graders at Southwest Leadership Academy. I think it’s great that you supply the dictionaries at such a low price. It really helps our club get more out to students.

We serve three communities and deliver dictionaries to third graders in two of the towns, and thesauruses to fourth graders in another. This is our third year; the project is the perfect scale for a small club.

We plan on using high school students in our Interact Club to distribute these books to all 3rd graders in the district. We have been doing this for years. We love being able to do this for the children in our community.

Farmersville Rotary has been donating dictionaries to the fourth graders at Farmersville Elementary for at least ten years. The kids get their dictionaries as fourth graders and keep and use them at school for the next three years, taking them with them when they go to Middle School. Great Job.
