The Rotary Club of Liberty has been participating in this program since 2002, donating a total of 1,581 dictionaries to local 3rd graders.

We have been participants in the project for the past 5 years. This is our third year the Rotary Club of Oregon City has given dictionaries to each third grade student in the Oregon City School District. The district does the count and prepares the labels by school and classroom. Our Dictionary Day program is in its 7th year and provides a dictionary and lesson plan to every third grade student in Long Beach. We have been doing the Dictionary Project for 3 years now and any school that we’ve visited has asked us to come back each year.

This is our 4th year in this great project. There are no words to describe what an effect this program has on children. Keep up the great work.
