I think this is great! Thank you so much for all you do! I have been looking for dictionaries to purchase for my class. These are the best around.

This is our third year of distribution. We started after my dad told me about the distribution to all third graders in Ft. Wayne, IN by his Rotary Club! We couldn’t let the Rotarians be one up on us! We are endeavoring to furnish all students with a dictionary. By giving every 3rd grader a dictionary, we will eventually reach our goal. The 3rd grade students are absolutely thrilled when they get their dictionaries as exhibited by the thank you letters we receive.

We have given dictionaries to the third graders in the school district for 4 or 5 years. The teachers and kids really look forward to it. The teachers asked us if we could give them a little earlier this year so the kids could get more use out of them. They are learning how to use a dictionary in 3rd grade.

This is the third year we have distributed dictionaries to 3rd graders in our school district. Members of our club distribute books individually to each student with a handshake. When possible the police chief or fire chief accompanies us. The students love to get the dictionaries and the teachers look forward to them each year.

Ouachita Parish Women’s Republican Club has been participating in The Dictionary Project for several years. The students love to receive their dictionaries and are thoroughly enthused when they are able to explore on their own. OPWRC members and associate members generously donated to support this worthy project.
