We are endeavoring to furnish all students with a dictionary. By giving every 3rd grader a dictionary, we will eventually reach our goal. The 3rd grade students are absolutely thrilled when they get their dictionaries as exhibited by the thank you letters we receive.

This will be our 3rd year of participating and find it very rewarding, both for the kids and ourselves.

This is the third year we have distributed dictionaries to 3rd graders in our school district. Members of our club distribute books individually to each student with a handshake. When possible the police chief or fire chief accompanies us. The students love to get the dictionaries and the teachers look forward to them each year.

Participating for several years. Well received by local schools. Great project. Education is so important.

Ouachita Parish Women’s Republican Club has been participating in The Dictionary Project for several years. The students love to receive their dictionaries and are thoroughly enthused when they are able to explore on their own. OPWRC members and associate members generously donated to support this worthy project.

Great program, really worthwhile.

This is our fourth year, expanding from one school to more than a dozen schools. This is our number one project with regards to hands-on participation by members of our club. Great project!
