We have been participating for 5 years, and it is very gratifying. When we started giving atlases to the 6th grade students last year, we found that they were our 1st 3rd-grade class with the dictionaries, and they remembered us! This is a great program!

We have been doing the dictionary project for several years. Since we have added the Aktion Club to our program it has become a very “feel good” project. The kids love the dictionaries, and the Aktion Club members get a great sense of community involvement by assisting with the delivery.

This is the eighth year our group has been a part of The Dictionary Project, starting with one school and adding another the second year. We are in a rural area with small schools, so our service is much appreciated. Very pleased with the products we’ve received and the courteous, efficient service. When any problem has come up, it’s been quickly resolved.

The contents of “A Student’s Dictionary” tie in nicely with the third grade curriculum in our schools. For some of our students, it may be the only dictionary that can be found in their home.

We are very pleased with the Dictionary Project! It has given us a contact with the school system and with children that we see on the streets of the small village we live in.

We have participated with the Dictionary Project for many years now, and we love to see the fifth graders’ faces when you present them with a dictionary of their own. They really appreciate them!

The Dictionary Project is great way to get books into children’s hands.
