This is our second year of presenting dictionaries to the third graders. We were pleasantly surprised how excited the students were to receive their own dictionary. Thanks for making these dictionaries available at such a reasonable cost.

We have a lot of Mexican students moving to Douglas County as Migrant Farm Workers. Children are not speaking English currently in schools and are struggling. These dictionaries will go to the kids, but will help families, as well.

This program is a great program. Washington Court House Elks # 129 PER Association adopted this program in 2008 and have been working on it every year for the students of the third grade in Fayette county. Fayette county has three school districts, and they look forward to the books each year with open arms. Teachers like using the books for class.

We love the dictionary project. You would think we were giving these kids a $100 gift card when we hand out the dictionaries. The teachers really appreciate them also.

This is our 7th year of participation. Each year we are able to enlarge the project. We are delighted to be a part of this worthy project. It is a great thing to take these dictionaries to a classroom and see the anticipation on the faces of the students.

This is just a fun project – the students are always excited and the teachers appreciative. We get excellent coverage in our two local papers. This is one of the best values for the money of any project we do!
