We have been doing the “Words for Thirds” project for 6 years and have delivered over 200 copies to the local elementary school. The children are all delighted to receive them and use them for many years to come. We love this project and are pleased that the Grange has taken this on every year.

This has been a very nice added thing for our school which does not have much money. We do this with the money we make roller skating at our Grange each summer.

This is our sixth year. We love to see the children’s faces when they get their own dictionary.

I don’t know exactly how many years we have done this now, but it has been quite a few years. The third grade teachers always look forward to this gift. It is a huge help to the students and teachers when they are learning how to use a dictionary. It really helps that all the students are looking in the same book. The students...

This year is the seventh year that South Fork Grange has given dictionaries to the third graders in Ritchie County. It is a fun day for the Grangers to spend with the children, and I think the children have fun too. It is a very worthwhile project and one that the children will remember. Keep doing the good work.

We love the project. Literacy is so very important to all of our students. This gives our Grange an opportunity to give to a worthy cause so that all of the children can have the proper learning tools, not just those that can afford them.

I believe this is the 7th year our Grange has donated a dictionary to each 3rd grade student, and their teachers, in the Eatonville School District. By now most of the students know we are coming with the dictionaries and are really excited to get them. I, personally, have had parents and grandparents come to me later at different functions and thank our Grange...

I think this is about the 4th year we have done this. The 3rd graders look forward to this every year. Sometimes their older siblings or friends have had the dictionaries.

We’ve been doing the project for six or seven years. We’ve expanded into three districts and LOVE the program… it’s helped us form a connection with the schools and children! Enjoy working with you and appreciate your interest in us!
