Chris Krauss, Wilson Grange # 321, East Wilton, ME
Sadly Granges have been closing and in the ensuing years our Wilson Grange hopes to raise enough money to send dictionaries to local schools that do not have area Granges. Thank you for this incredible opportunity to make a difference.
Jean Meehan, Prospect Grange # 144, Prospect, CT
This will be the 8th year we will be giving 3rd graders dictionaries in the Algonquin School Regional 16 schools. The principal of the Algonquin School is really thrilled with this project and the students feel special and the second graders look forward to getting their very own dictionary when they are in the 3rd grade. This project is well worth doing. The thank... Read More

Beacon Light Grange has participated for over 6 years. We still hear from high schoolers and parents that they still have their dictionaries. This project has helped keep the Grange in the public eye.

We donate to the entire school district which encompasses three towns, Charlestown, Richmond and Hopkinton. There are four schools in the district: two in Hopkinton and one each in Richmond and Charlestown. We always present the books to the children at a special program for each of the four schools we serve. We have been participating in this program for four years. Each year... Read More

We’ve been doing this for 4 years. This is such a great project, and the kids really love it! Custer Center Grange # 100 has been helping for several years.
Jerry Zabriskie, Baw Faw Grange # 34, Curtis, WA
We have been at this five years. Our school is small so we use less than one box, however we carry the excess dictionaries over each year until we have enough to distribute one more year. Great project that gets our Grange involved with the local school.
Susan LaFleur, Rochester Grange # 257, Rochester, MA
Donating for 8 years. We are a small organization with older members so this is not only a very worthwhile project but also something we can easily do. Just keep up the good work. Our students love getting the books and look forward to us coming to the school.
Art Kinney, Ripley Grange # 65, Westfield, NY
We have been doing this for the last five years or so. We appreciate it and enjoy doing this project for our community.
Art Ries, Selah Heights Grange # 608, Selah, WA
Selah Heights Grange provides dictionaries for third grade students in Selah as participants in a statewide Grange program. It has been well received by the school teachers and administrators. The students usually write thank you notes that tell how they will use the dictionaries. The Dictionary Project has given Selah Heights Grange a recognition by the schools and community for a community service project.
Catherine E McPhail, Garden City Grange # 280, Snohomish, WA
Our Grange has been participating in The Dictionary Project for about 5 years. I think it is a wonderful project–it is one of the best ways to help students learn to build their vocabulary.
