Dictionary Project gets Warren grant

The Warren Charities awarded a basic education grant Friday for the benefit of young students in Pinal County. The grant was awarded to Coolidge-Florence Elks Lodge to support its Dictionary Project.

The project is a program whose goal is to assist all students in completing the school year as good writers, active readers and creative thinkers by providing them with their own personal dictionary. The dictionaries are a gift to each student.

The Warren Charities has awarded and presented grant funds for the expansion and improvement of public protection and safety and for amateur sports and competition materials and supplies in addition to basic educational materials and supplies, all for the benefit of Pinal County, since its inception in February 2005.
