Thank you, Grange!

Norton Grange # 2566 provided dictionaries to third graders at three Norton City schools and a private Christian School.

Here are some of the thank-you letters they received:

Dear Norton Grange,

Thank you for giving everyone a dictionary. I use it all the time. I think all the states, longest words, presidents, and all the other things are really interesting! In my classroom we have dictionary races and get big dictionaries and look for words my teacher says. This dictionary you gave me, can help me practice for the races. Thank you again for the dictionary

Sincerely,

Madison

Dear Norton Grange,

Thank you for the dictionary. Sometimes I have my mom ask me to find a word. When I find that word I read the definition. It is very very useful! I like to read about the planets and do the ABCs in sign language.

Sincerely,

Alexa

Dear Norton Grange,

Thanks you for my dictionary. Now I know all the presidents and now I know sing language. It is really helpful. Thanks again.

Sincerely,

Allison

Dear Norton Grange,

Thank you for my dictionary. I am very thankful for my dictionary because I love to read, but sometimes I don’t really understand the meaning of a word, and my dictionary helps me. I like to read dictionaries, but a multiplication table? You guys are awesome! Thanks again!

Sincerely,

Clayton

(P. S. Where did you get the dictionaries?)

Dear Norton Grange

Thank you for the dictionary. I really loved the dictionary. Have you ever heard of the biggest word in the world? The dictionary was so cool because we always have to use a big sloppy heavy book for school. It has more pages than yours. It’s so big! So how old are you, because I am 8?

Love,

Emily
