Oakhurst Sierra Sunrise Rotary dictionary project

Oakhurst Sierra Sunrise Rotarians traveled to mountain area schools in North Fork, Spring Valley in O’Neals, Rivergold and Coarsegold Elementary in Coarsegold and Raymond-Knowles Elementary on January 19th. Each year Oakhurst Sierra Sunrise Rotary gives each student their very own dictionary to help them in their studies. The children are introduced to our Rotary Four-Way Test as something they can use and follow in their lives. Some of their teachers try to pronounce the longest word found in their dictionary to the children’s delight! Walt Reimer organizes and spearheads the project each year.
