Personalized Dictionaries from the Rotary Club of Delaware, OH

Many of our sponsors have labels made to insert on the front page of the dictionary. This is a great way for students to remember the kind gesture as well as let parents and family members know who gave the book to their child. Arguably the best part about labeling the dictionary with your organization’s logo is the “labeling party” – a time to get together and talk about the upcoming presentation and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow members. The Rotary Club of Delaware hosts a labeling and sorting party every year to kick-start their dictionary project in Delaware County public and private schools. Last month, eighteen volunteers assembled to sort over 670 dictionaries and insert their Rotary label. The label adds a personal touch to the dictionary and students enjoy writing their name in the new book.
