Arlington Kiwanis Club

The Arlington Kiwanis Club, in conjunction with the Friends of the Arlington Library, donate dictionaries to local students every year. This year, they estimate they have provided between 600-700 third graders with their own copies of ‘The Best Dictionary for Students’, which also includes information like sign language, braille, and the longest word in English. Their hope is that these books will help the children become good writers, active readers, creative thinkers, and resourceful learners.
