Milford Masonic Lodge Dictionary Donation Reaches Over 9,100 Students
Since 2010, the Milford Masonic Lodge #165 in Michigan has proudly provided every third-grade student in the Huron Valley School District with a personal dictionary from The Dictionary Project. As of this year, the lodge has donated more than 9,100 dictionaries, reinforcing its long-term commitment to supporting literacy and education in the community.
Students were thrilled to receive their dictionaries, and the impact reaches beyond the classroom. One parent shared, “Last year my son was so excited to tell me about his when I picked him up from school. He still uses it. For the most part, if he asks what something means, I tell him to get his dictionary. Thank you!!!”
The Milford Masonic Lodge’s dedication to learning tools like dictionaries helps equip children with essential vocabulary and reading skills that will benefit them for years to come.
