Walker Rotary Club Brings Early Christmas Cheer with Dictionaries for Students
The Walker Rotary Club in Minnesota delivered an early Christmas gift to third-grade students in Walker and LaPorte — a brand-new personal dictionary for each student.
The club has been proudly participating in The Dictionary Project since 2005, and this year’s event continued a tradition that has helped promote literacy and learning across their community. Over the years, the Walker Rotary Club has donated more than 1,500 dictionaries to local students.
Students were excited to receive their dictionaries, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm for words just in time for the holidays. The Rotary Club’s efforts help ensure that every child has access to a fundamental tool for academic success.
