The Rotary Club of Naples distributes dictionaries to all Collier County third graders

The Rotary Club of Naples has been a proud supporter of The Dictionary Project since 2004, donating almost 60,000 dictionaries to local students. Their continued commitment ensures that every child has access to a valuable resource for learning, reading, and exploring the English language.

In an age where students often turn to technology for answers, the Rotary Club of Naples is giving third graders a more traditional tool—dictionaries. These tangible books offer something screens can’t.  The joy of discovery through page-turning, the chance to build vocabulary, and the opportunity to explore language without distractions.
