Loxahatchee Groves Elementary school delights in their very own ”A Student’s Dictionary & Animal Gazetteer”
Third-grade students at Loxahatchee Groves Elementary School in Loxahatchee, Florida, celebrated as they received “A Student’s Dictionary & Animal Gazetteer” to take home as their own.
Vice Principal Juliana Bradley looked on with gratitude as the children searched through their books to find words about animals and words they don’t know in the dictionary.
One student was so excited about his new book that he asked if he could keep it in his bookbag, while another eagerly explored the animal habitat section. Soon, the cafeteria buzzed with excitement as friends shared new words and showed each other the many resources they discovered, including information on clouds, the water cycle, sign language, and maps of the world—just to name a few of the featured resources.
