Rotary Club of Natick spreads the gift of literacy; giving dictionaries to nearly 400 third-graders

Since 2006, the Rotary Club of Natick of Massachusetts has supported Rotary International’s literacy mission through its annual Dictionary Project, providing every third grader in Natick Public Schools with a personalized Student Dictionary.

Students this age don’t have many books with their name printed inside so each dictionary features a customized bookplate with the student’s name, school, the Rotary Club of Natick link, and Rotary’s Four-Way Test – helping foster pride of ownership and a love of learning.

This year, 384 students in four Natick elementary schools received their very own dictionaries.
