Since 2008, the Rotary Club of Houston has proudly partnered with the Dictionary Project, donating an incredible 22,224 dictionaries to students in their community.
Most recently, members visited KIPP Shine Academy, where they were met with enthusiastic, engaged, and grateful students excited to receive their very own dictionaries.
In an increasingly digital world, it was especially meaningful to place “actual books” into the hands of these young learners—sparking curiosity, encouraging exploration, and reinforcing the power of literacy. The Rotary Club of Houston continues to make a lasting impact, one word at a time.
