Thank-You Letter of the Week: Rotary Clubs of Yuma County
Dear Dr. Geyer,
Thank you and your fellow Rotarians for coming to Salida del Sol and giving dictionaries to all of our third grade students. As you know, most of our students come from poverty and do not have books or any resources in their home to assist them in their learning. As I spent time in their classrooms this week, I saw several students referring to their dictionary or wanting to point out something new they learned from looking through their dictionary. They were so excited and so proud of this gift. I know that they will use it and treasure it for years to come.
Thank you for having the vision to start this project and continue giving to the students of Yuma County. Your thoughtfulness has touched the lives of so many students. Once again, I thank you and all the Rotary clubs that were involved in making this project possible for our students.
