We have been participating for 5 years. It is important for our Club to continue this project for our 3rd graders. Literacy is so important and 3rd grade is a crucial time for our kids.

We have been doing this for about 15 years and love seeing the joy on the faces of the kids.. It’s a great project.. Just the Roxbury Rotary Club.

Our third year in providing dictionaries to the third graders in our town. You would think it was Christmas morning when we tell them the book is theirs to keep. This is a great project, with immediate, and long term rewards for all.

We have been participating in this project for at least the last 6+ years. We look forward to the thank you letters that the 3rd grade students send us! You can tell that they are excited to get them and are very appreciative of them. Distributing the books is a wonderful experience. Last year children were excited about owning a dictionary, commented on how nice and new they smelled, immediately started looking up random words and looking at the maps..

The Corinth Rotary Program has been doing this Project for over 10 years for 2 local schools and last year we added a private school. It is so fun to do this and be able to have books still in this digital age. BOOKS ARE IMPORTANT!. None.

This is my first year for the Blakeslee Rotary, but I have assisted the Weatherly Rotary Club with their project in the past when they held an end-of-the-year Scrabble tournament using the dictionaries.
