This will be our 5th year. We are pleased because the students and teachers are very pleased.

We have been doing this for about 3 years. The school really appreciates the program. Teachers want the books as soon as possible when school starts. They are very excited about the project.

This is my second time doing the project. Love my dictionary since I was a kid and want to inspire children.

We originally did the project several years ago, and are picking it back up. The hugs and stories we receive from the children are the greatest.

This is the first year the Waterbury Rotary is participating in the Dictionary Project. I love it! Every kid needs a dictionary!

This is our first time participating. We think this is a wonderful idea to engage students in their learning. We are happy to continue the program enthusiastically endorsed by the third grade teachers.

The schools in South Florida’s budgets have been cut to bare bones and it gives us great pleasure to be able to supply the schools and of course the students with the much needed dictionaries. I am glad that you are here to be of help and had no idea that the schools are so needy.

This is the first time doing the project. Personally, donation and distribution of these dictionaries to the 3rd grade students was one of the most enjoyable experiences that I have had this year. As I stated in my report to you, “The smiles on these children’s faces today were priceless!” Our Carmel Lions Club is now totally committed to this project.

We enjoy seeing the look on the children’s faces when we deliver the books. We look forward to this event every year.

This is the 6th annual dictionary project for the West Hartford Rotary Club. We will have given out over 4,800 dictionaries when we finish this year’s project. West Hartford is the birthplace of Noah Webster, so we use this local tie-in to enhance our project.
