We have been participating the this project at least since the 2002-2003 school year. Our members believe that this project is one of the most rewarding of all of our local projects.

The Dictionary Project is our favorite. The smile on the students makes it worthwhile.

This is a great program. I am trying to get others at my work to sponsor a local school. My whole family sponsors this project. My daughters both attended Lily B. Clayton Elementary and love being able to give back to it. This is a great way to get them started in helping others.

This will be our 2nd year. We received so many “Thank You” letters from the children that received the books in 2010, it confirmed to the adults that donated the money that this is a great non-profit to donate to.

The Rotary Club of Winona and the third grade students of Winona County love the Dictionary Project! The 2011-2012 school year will be our sixth year of distribution. We have donated over 2,400 dictionaries in the first five years of the project.

This is my first year and I’m excited to continue this project on an annual basis. I think this is a phenomenal project that will help the future of our youth. The earlier we can reach out to them the better!

I have been involved in this project for five years, and it is always a special treat to see the children’s delight upon receiving their book. Teachers are most appreciative as well. This is a great way to participate in Rotary’s literacy endeavors and help our local schools at the same time. We feel it is our way to give back to our community.

2011 will be our sixth Dictionary Project. The Dictionary Project gives us a great way to maintain close contact and continue a good rapport with our local schools. We love the Dictionary Project. Keep up the good work.

This is our 2nd year. We think it is an awesome project, and the children really liked the dictionaries last year.
